Eamon's main areas of expertise include exploring the two way linkages between HIV/AIDS - Nutrition -Food/Agricultural production; rural livelihoods and food security; small-scale rural enterprises; small-scale/co-operative dairy enterprises; rural credit and rural financial institutions; rural resource management; economic analysis of small-scale farming systems and project analysis.

Stephen Onakuse, Research Fellow
Stephen is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Sustainable Livelihoods. His areas of expertise include Community-Based Organisation Development and Livelihoods Analysis, Participatory Appraisal and Community Needs, Poverty, situation and policy analysis, Agricultural development through innovative technology practices, Policy Advice for Poverty Reduction Strategies, Mainstreaming HIV/AIDS and socio-cultural issues, Sustainable development, and sustainable livelihoods in Developing Countries. He received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, a Master's in Environmental Biology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the University College Cork, Ireland.

Xiaoye Dai, Research Fellow
Xiaoye is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Sustainable Livelihoods. Her areas of expertise include multimedia synchronisation; enhanced multimedia technology in virtual learning; ICTs in teaching and learning; applying ICTs to build up knowledge capacity in rural areas; e-learning for knowledge exchanging in rural development. Xiaoye received a B.E. and a M.Sc in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science joint with Development Studies.
